Dr.Tarek Elkewidy

Chairman

Dr. Tarek has a 30 years of experience in oil and gas industry , Ph.D., Petroleum Engineering , University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK, U.S.A, May 1996, and M.Sc., Petroleum Engineering, May 1990, Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA, U.S.A, and B.Sc., Geology, May 1983, Cairo University , Egypt. Currently, He is Professor of Practice, American Univ. In Cairo Auc , 2010 – Present , He also was a Professor, British Univ, Cairo,2007 – 2009 , He had a Grant as a Reservoir Engineering Manager , Grant Geopysical (GeoRes 4D); Houston, TX, 1997- 98 , He also worked at AMOCO Technology Center , Tulsa, OK, 1995-97 as a Petrophysicist/Reservoir Engineer , he also worked as a Research/Teaching Assistant , OU, Norman, OK, 1992-96 , He worked as a Petroleum Engineer at KEPETCO; Gulf of Suez/Western Desert, 1990-1992 , and also worked as a Geological Engineer at N.L. Baroid International, Gulf of Suez, 1985-87 , He started his career working as a Geological Engineer at Core Lab International, Gulf of Suez, 1983-85.

Sayed Abdul-Khalek

Sayed has over 30 years of experience in oil and gas industry in both field and office operations in Libya, Egypt, Syria, Kuwait, Saudi, Yamen, Oman and several other countries across the globe, he has an MSc. in Geology from Ain Shams University, Egypt; ADT Certificate of “Applied Drilling Engineering Technology” from Scotland School of Drilling, has a “Professional Certificate in Leadership & Management Skills, March 2006 – February 2007; the AMERICAN UNIVERSITY IN CAIRO (AUC)”. And the “Business Leadership Development Program, MAYS BUSINESS CHOOL, TEXSAS A&M UNIVERSITY, CCOLLEGE STATION; USA, 2009”. Also a “Financial Leadership for Non-Financial Managers; Dubai 2010” and “Delivering Financial Performance Program, Cairo 2011”.

Sayed has started his career as Field Engineer for Sperry-Sun Drilling Services on SDL-MLWD to an Assistant Regional Training Manager for MENA, to be the Regional M\LWD Manager for North Africa Region; Halliburton, to a Business Segment Manager, to A Country General Manager for Sperry Halliburton in Egypt to a Senior Business Development Manager in Halliburton Egypt Aug 2016.
